Se a1/b1,a2/b2,....,an/bn pertencem ao intervalo (alpha,beta) e b1,b2,....,bn sao positivos prove que (a1+a2+...+an)/(b1+b2+....+bn) pertence a (alpha,beta). Nas mesmas condicoes se t1,t2,.....,tn E R+, prove que (t1a1+t2a2+...+tnan)/(t1b1+t2b2+....+ tnbn) também pertence ao intervalo (alpha,beta).
