Basta substituir os valores de x e y na função; com isso você terá um 
sistema de duas equações e duas incógnitas.

para f(1) = 5 -> x=1 , y=5. substituindo em y = ax + b, e
analogamente, para f(-3). aí vc terá:
a + b = 5
-3a + b = -7

basta resolver esse sistema e encontrar os valores dos coeficientes a e b.
