Title: Surface and threefold mutations
Date: Jun 15, 2012

Abstract:
This is a continuation of my talk on June 8.
Then I show some motivations to develop a theory of mutations,
now I'll develop such theories.
Surface mutations.
This is joint works with Alexandr Usnich (IPMU 10-0100)
and John Alexander Cruz Morales (IPMU 12-0110).
We develop two frameworks for mutations of potentials in
dimension two - geometric and algebraic (using analogue of upper bounds).
Both methods allows us to prove an excessive Laurent phenomenon.
Threefold mutations.
I will describe our joint experimental work with Mohammad Akhtar, Tom
Coates and Al Kasprzyk: in dimension three we construct special
birational transformations to connect thousands of distinguished
Laurent polynomial into a few webs.
