The Computational Mathematics Research Laboratory (LPMAC) focuses its research on applied mathematics, emphasizing industry-oriented applications. Within the scope of research, we seek to deepen questions related to training evaluation and optimization. In applications, we focus on developing new techniques for ensemble-based optimization methods and artificial intelligence.

LPMAC is a research and development group within the mathematics department at PUC-Rio. It is strongly interdisciplinary, bringing together mathematics, engineering, and computer science.
