Matias G. Delgadino obtained his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Universidad Nacional de Cordoba (Argentina) in 2011. In 2016, he obtained his PhD. degree in Applied Mathematics from Unversity of Maryland at College Park (United States). The title of his PhD. thesis was the "Analysis of Self-Organization" and dealt with the characterization of patterns that arise in particle systems with pairwise interactions.
After spending one year in ICTP (Italy) and two years in Imperial College (United Kingdom) for postdoctoral positions, he joined Pontificial Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro's faculty in 2019. His research interests lie on the analysis of Partial Differential Equations arising from modelling diverse physical phenomena. Particular phenomena studied include self-organization, homogenization, capillarity, plasma physics and fluid mechanics.
