C1 robust rigidity for bi-critical circle maps
Gabriela Estevez (UFF, Niterói, Brasil)

Renormalization is a classical tool that has been used in low-dimensional dynamical systems to obtain results on the original system by inducing a sequence of new systems of the same kind but on a small scale. A classical example where renormalization was used is Herman’s Theorem on linearization of circle diffeomorphisms. In this talk I will show that under certain condition on their renormalizations,
two critical circle maps with two critical points which are topologically conjugate are in fact C1
conjugate
